SEND Wales Only – Users presented with a message relevant to the SEN legislation when issuing a final Statement (3.80)

Description

Some Welsh LAs are only using Assessment Involvements to record information about children and young people who are being assessed under the SEN legislation (not the ALN legislation). These children and young people would therefore be issued with a Statement rather than an Individual Development Plan.

The correct message stating that this is for a Statement is now shown when a Final Date is entered.

• When the Final Date is entered on an Assessment Involvement that has the ALN statuses shown on Involvement field set as a cross, a message displays that shows a final Statement has been issued
• When the Final Date is entered on an Assessment Involvement that has the ALN statuses shown on Involvement field set as a tick, a message displays that shows a final Individual Development Plan has been issued
